Dessie Morris, 95, of Martinsville, passed away on February 4, 2016. She was born on February 18, 1920 in London, Kentucky to Alamander and Betty (Cornett) Feltner.

Dessie was a very sweet and loving person that was ever thankful and a faithful member of the Pentecostal Church.

Dessie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Ronnie E. & Cathie Morris of Camby; Ralph W. & Debbie Morris of Martinsville; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Vernon Morris; daughter: Bonnie Fidler; son: Harold Dean Morris; and 4 brothers.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016, from 10:00 am. till 12:00 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Indianapolis Chapel, 925 East Hanna Ave. Her funeral services will follow, with Pastor Richard Jones officiating.
