Dennis Allen Klinefelter Sr.,74, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on October 29, 2024, in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on May 5, 1950, in Indianapolis, and spent his life dedicated to his family, friends, and his career.

Dennis was an accomplished Drywall Finisher, proudly owning and operating his own business. He earned respect of his clients and colleagues alike, thanks to his diligence, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in his craft.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra May (King) Klinefelter, whom he married on April 7, 1983, in Indianapolis. Together, they created a loving home and raised a beautiful family. Dennis leaves behind his six children: Dennis (Karen) Klinefelter Jr., Rachel (Darren) Wimsatt, Adam Klinefelter, Dustin (Rachel) Klinefelter, Eric (Emily) Klinefelter, and Jonathan (Tori) Klinefelter.

As a loving grandfather, Dennis was adored by his grandchildren: Kayla Burton, Karly Klinefelter, Dennis Klinefelter, Damon Klinefelter, Whitney Klinefelter, Kelsey Klinefelter, Everleigh Klinefelter, Liam Klinefelter, Easton Klinefelter, Summer Klinefelter, Kaitlin Klinefelter, Cameron Klinefelter, Coleson Klinefelter, and Raelynn Klinefelter. Additionally, he was a proud great-grandfather to Codey "CJ" Burton, Jetson Burton, Colin Klinefelter, and Emmett Klinefelter.

He is predeceased by his father, Robert Allen Klinefelter; his mother, Olive Irene (Gardener) Klinefelter; and his sister, Sue Wills.

Dennis Allen Klinefelter Sr. will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his kind spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. He leaves an enduring legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
