Greenwood – Denise Marie Barnes passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
Mrs. Barnes was born June 3, 1954 in Boston, MA. She and her family moved to Indiana in 1955. She was employed by JFW Industries in Indianapolis, where she served in the assembly department.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Tim Barnes; sons, Brent, Keith and Joseph Shepherd and Timothy Barnes, Jr. and his wife, Kara; brother, James Hudson and his wife, Theresa; sisters, Teresa Riley and her husband, Paul, Brenda Scruggs, Cindy Durham and her husband, David, Naomi Hudson and Jamie Perry and her husband, Chris; 4 grandchildren; many other loving and devoted friends; and her beloved dog, Paisley.
Mrs. Barnes' family will receive friends Friday, February 20, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A celebration of her life will be conducted Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10 am at the funeral home.
