Debra Charlene Roberts

Debra Charlene Roberts, 65 of Indianapolis passed away on June 23, 2023 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1958 in Fairmont, West Virginia the daughter of Cochran and Patricia (Marshall) Carter. Debra attended Wood High School and then worked many years as a forklift driver. She married the love of her life, Ralph Roberts on August 7, 1978. Debra had long beautiful hair and absolutely loved to have her hair brushed out. She enjoyed going to the Stokley Van Camp. More than anything, Debra loved life and spending time with her family.

Debra is survived by her husband of over 44 years, Ralph Roberts; daughter, Rose Rachelle Roberts – Piccione; 5 siblings, Jerry Dean Carter, Terry Jean Davis-Redd, Charles Albert Davis II, Edra Elizabeth Davis and Brenda Louis Augenbaugh; 4 grandchildren, Nicholas Allen Roberts, Adrian Joseph Piccione, Sophia Rose Piccione and Aurora Noelle Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Eugene Roberts; mother-in-law, Pearl Francis Roberts; and father-in-law, William "Babe" Jesse Roberts.

A funeral service celebrating Debra's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227 with Pastor Mickey Roy officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, June 30, 2023 at the funeral home.
