Deborah Kay Baker

MOORESVILLE – Deborah Kay “Debbie” (Hornsby) Baker, 61, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at her home. She was born on August 6, 1962 to the late Kenneth White and Minnie Alice (Hicks) Hornsby in Indianapolis, Indiana. Debbie attended Arsenal Technical High School. She married Steven Donald “Steve” Baker on November 27, 1982 at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband of nearly 42 years, Steve Donald Baker; her oldest sister, Donna Cast and her husband Clarence; her brother, David Hornsby and his wife Michelle “Shelly”; her twin sister, Diana Hornsby; her nephews: Virgil “Bubby” England, Bradley Taylor and Ricky Bray; her nieces: Samantha “Sissy” Flake, Allison “AJ” Cast, Jennifer Boles, Kimberly Harsin and Nicole Steele; and her dog, Jax Baker. In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel “Danny” Hornsby.
