Dawn Marie Hammer

Dawn Marie (Roach) Hammer, 61, passed away at 4:14 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021 at her residence in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born to the late William Dean and Helen Francis (Blunk) Roach on May 31, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dawn attended Emmerich Manual High School. In her spare time she enjoyed baking and crafting. Dawn made bracelets, keychains and many Christmas ornaments. She loved getting pedicures and doing fashionable makeup designs. Dawn became passionate about makeup later in life and has an entire makeup collection to show for. She adored her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Jessica Marie Hammer and Kayla Nichole Hammer; her sisters, Debbie Roasch and her husband, Ed, Diana Rivera and her husband, Arnold, Donna Whiteside and her husband, Bob and Billie McGuire; and her grandchildren, Jalen Rice, Landon Rice and Alexis Hammer. She was proceeded in death by her parents, William Dean Roach and Helen Francis Roach.

Dawn's friends and family may visit from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.

Dawn's friends and family may also visit from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Bobby Whiteside officiating. Interment will follow in New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
