David U. Trevino

David U. Trevino age 81, of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born July 7, 1940 in Texas the son of Luciano and Petra Trevino. David married the love of his life, Doris C. Frandsen on October 2, 1966 in Trufant, Michigan. He retired from I.U.P.U.I after 32 years working in grounds maintenance. David enjoyed watching boxing and spending time his garden. He liked watching old movies and collecting models of old classic cars. More than anything, David loved his family and was an amazing provider.

David's family includes his wife of over 55 years, Doris C. Trevino; 2 children, David D. Trevino and Susan Trevino-Leon; 3 siblings, Olivia Covarrubias, Maria Cerecedes and Nancy Henderson; 3 grandchildren, Alejandro D. Leon-Trevino, Carmela Leon-Trevino and Ana Leon-Trevino; and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in law, Andrew and Mary Frandsen; and 4 siblings, Eliseo Trevino, Juan Trevino, Noe Trevino and Felix Trevino.

A funeral service celebrating David's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions.
