Darrell Gene Riordan

Indianapolis - Darrell G. Riordan, 62, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020. He was born October 5, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to Iola Peavey Riordan and the late Donald Riordan. He worked with his father as a mechanic and helped operate R&S Auto Sales for over 30 years. He enjoyed racing at Speedrome and fishing, hunting, camping, watching Nascar and spending time outdoors with his music, a cold one and his family and friends.

Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Donald G. Riordan. He is survived by his mother, Iola Peavey Riordan; daughters: Crystal Pitcher, Erica Riordan, Sara Glover and her husband, Lee and Taylor Riordan; son, Jason Riordan; step-son, Chaz Johnson; sister, Donna Kliebenstein and her husband, Ken; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several cousins; a niece; and a nephew.

Darrell's family will receive friends Wednesday, December 9, 2020, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Richard Jones officiating. For the health and safety of all guests attending, face masks are required. Thank you. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143
