Darrell G. Bowling, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away on December 17, 2015 at residence. He was born on September 23, 1956, Somerset, Kentucky to Ambrose and Dorothy (Gossett) Bowling. Darrell retired from Allison Transmission. He was a member of the Indianapolis Masonic Lodge #669 F. & A. M.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife: Kathy, his daughter: Melissa Bowling; brother: Karl Smith; three grandchildren: Trey Lovely, Shealyn Barks, Trinity Barks; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: brothers: Donald Bowling, Robert Bowling and Brian Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 925 East Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. Interment will follow at West Newton Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, December 21, 2015, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with Masonic Funeral rites conducted at 7:30 P.M. Monday.
