Darlene Eugenia Mason, lovingly known by everyone As "Dee–Dee", 52, passed away on December 2, 2017 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Darlene was born on July 15, 1965 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ida B. "Patsy" Clark Leslie and Carl Mason. Darlene graduated from Arlington High School in 1984. After graduation, Darlene began working Career as a housekeeper at the Hilton Hotels. Darlene continued her career as a domestic assistant at Eaglecare Nursing Home.
Darlene's interest included solving 1000+ piece puzzles, Playing Yahtzee, going to movies, listening to her Favorite singer Gerald Lavert, and hanging with her family and friends.
Darlene is survived by her step-father, Walter R. "Pete" Leslie; twin brother, Darrell E. (Shar'ron) Mason; Sisters Tammi J. Clark, Natalie L. (Brett) Smith, Cellenar R. Clark, Doris A. Horton, Delphine Wright, and Valerie Garrett; Daughters Myla A. Johnson and Michaela E. Campbell; Fiancé Curtis Franklin; father: Carl Mason as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Darlene was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Belle "Patsy" Clark Leslie; sister Carmon Anne Summers; and grandparents Tommie and Violet Jones.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at The Blended Church located at 2215 Country Club Road Indianapolis 46234 from 9 A.M. until her funeral service at 11 A.M.
