Indianapolis – Darcy Jean (Dillard) Walker, age 60, entered into rest at 7:52 AM on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born to the late Russell D. and Mildred Jean (Himebrook) Dillard on July 8, 1961 in Indianapolis, IN.
Darcy graduated from Perry Meridian High School, class of 1980. She attended college at Butler University and was a part of their dance program. Formerly, Darcy was a dancer and gymnast. She became a dance instructor professionally. Darcy was united in marriage on April 4, 2005 to Lloyd D. Walker in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Her hobbies included, gardening, candle making and culinary science. Darcy loved listening to good music and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed helping raise her nieces and nephews. Darcy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd D. Walker; her brothers, Robert Clayborn, Jr. and George David Clayborn; her sisters, Patricia Boring and Brenda Orme; her nieces, Krystle Berger and Lori Hulin; her great niece, Kaleigh Arndt; her great-great niece, Annie Rae Arndt; and her great nephews, David Berger and Liam Berger. In addition to her parents, Darcy was preceded in death by her brothers, William Clayborn, Matthew Clayborn and Russell D. Dillard.
