Indianapolis – Darald Lee Meek, 68, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015.
Mr. Meek was born April 21, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U. S. Army, where he served in Vietnam. He was employed by Meek Masonry where he worked as a mason. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Mr. Meek was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Dubois; father, Gerald Meek; mother, Betty Meek; and brothers, Ronnie and Jerry Meek. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Patsy Meek; daughter, Stacey Gaytan; son, Darald Eugene Meek; sister, Jewlia Meek; brothers, Ricky, Randy, Davey and Bobby Meek; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
Mr. Meek's family will receive friends Wednesday, September 30, 2015, from 2 – 4 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A celebration of his life will follow at 4 pm with Pastor Judy Fackenthal officiating.
