Danielle Ouaboa

January 6, 1988 — December 7, 2024

Danielle Ouaboa, born on January 6, 1988, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on December 7, 2024, in her beloved hometown. A cheerful and outgoing spirit, Danielle was known for her caring nature and her passion for helping others, particularly children. She dedicated her career to education, serving as an intervention teacher at Vision Academy in Indianapolis, as well as a special education teacher at Perry Township Schools and SENSE Charter School.

Graduating from Warren Central High School in 2006, Danielle pursued further education at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), where she became a valued member of the African Student Association. Her commitment to family and her community shone brightly throughout her life; she was a devoted and loving mother to her daughters, Abrigail Ouaboa and Renesmae Ouaboa, whom she raised with the utmost care and encouragement. Her daughter Abby fondly recalls how Danielle instilled a sense of ambition and the importance of setting high goals.

Danielle's warm personality and her genuine ability to connect with people made her a beloved figure. She never met a stranger, and her love for gathering family and friends was apparent in her many hobbies, which included taking her children to beauty pageants, enjoying family camping trips, and playing euchre on Mondays. Danielle's playful side often emerged as she liked to play pranks on her daughters, creating cherished memories that will remain in their hearts forever.

Throughout her life, her main focus was her family. Danielle is remembered for her ability to bring people together and create lasting bonds. She is survived by her loving parents, James Pickett and Kathleen (Parks) Morgan; her sister, Heather Pickett; her cherished daughters, Abrigail and Renesmae; and a host of nieces and nephews, including Hannah Miers, Maryanne Stacy, Jordan Morrison, Moses Hunter, and Liam Terkhorn. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandmother, Wilma Parks, and her fiancé, Richard Amevuvor.

Danielle was predeceased by her beloved son, Elijah Ouaboa, and her sister, Kristy Wells.
