Claude Wotring

Indianapolis - Claude H. Wotring, Jr., 60, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016.

Mr. Wotring was born June 29, 1956 in Indianapolis. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy where he served in Vietnam. He was employed as a contractor in the construction industry.

Mr. Wotring was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Wotring and his sister, Gustina Wotring. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Wotring; sons, Alex and David Wotring; parents, Claude Sr. and Gusta Wotring; sister, Brenda Moore and her husband, Dennis; brothers, Ricky Wotring, Steve Wotring and his wife, Debbie, Michael Wotring and his wife, Norma and James Wotring and his wife, Stephanie; 10 grandchildren; 12 nieces; 18 nephews; and many other loving family members and devoted friends.

Mr. Wotring's family will receive friends Wednesday, August 3, 2016, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A celebration of his life will be conducted Thursday, August 4, 2016, at 11 am at Marion National Cemetery at 1700 East 38 Street, VA Medical Center in Marion, IN with his brother, Steve Wotring, officiating. Military honors will be conducted by members of the United States Navy Color Guard.
