Indianapolis - Claud Edward "Ed" Hughes, 69, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, November 6, 2017.
Mr. Hughes was born April 12, 1948 in Burksville, KY to the late Millard and Nellie Beatrice Hughes. He served his family and his community doing odd jobs such as hauling away trash and lawn debris.
Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by his sisters, Anna Pearl Bailey and Dorothy Flintcraft. He is survived by his sisters, Nina Pate, Hilda Buttz and Glenda Calvert; and his brother, Bill Hughes and his wife, Linda.
A celebration of his life gathering will be conducted Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 1 – 5 pm at the clubhouse at Crestwood Village, 8809 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
