Clarence Moore

Indianapolis – Clarence "Sonny" Moore, 78, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019. He was born May 18, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Clarence and Lottie Moor. He was employed by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway where he served in the security department for over 30 years.

Sonny was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Sandoval. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Shirley Moore; daughter, Karen Padgett and her husband, Dean; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and close friends.

Sonny's family will receive friends Monday, May 20, 2019, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at 11 am at Lincoln Memory Gardens, 6851 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, IN 46075 with Rev. Danny Thomas officiating.
