Chester H. Taylor

Chester H. Taylor, 85, passed away January 2, 2020 at The Waters of Indianapolis. He was born March 1, 1934 in Revelo, Kentucky to his parents James and Hattie Taylor (Richardson).

Chester drove for BFI Sanitation for many years. He received employee of the month at Mr. Fuel at the young age of 74. He enjoyed buying and selling cars and attending car shows. His work ethic was unmatched, as he was always on the go.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hattie; wife, Margaret Taylor; daughter, Linda Cline; daughter-in-law, Sharon Taylor; and four siblings.

Chester is survived by his children Barbara (Fred) Hartman, Michael Taylor, and Theresa (Rick) Smock; son-in-law, Larry Cline eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and friends.

Mr. Taylor's family will receive friends, Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at New Crown Cemetery.
