Charles Edward Stiles

Indianapolis - Charles Edward "Ed" Stiles, 62, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was born September 24, 1959 in Morgantown WV to the late Arnold Stiles, Jr. and Mary Sue Combs Pate. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Army. He served his community as a plumber.

Ed's family described him as a great man who fiercely loved his family, his friends, his country, his Harley Davidson and his dog, Rex. He was a strong role model to his family. Everyone who knew him could depend on him for anything.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Stiles, Jr. and Mary Sue Combs Pate; brothers Teddy and Timmy Stiles; niece, Sophie Robbins; and nephews, Chris Stiles and Jake Zimmerman. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn Stiles; daughter, Tiffany Stiles; siblings: Debi Wilhelm, Betty Jones, Allen Stiles, Kay (Mark) Turner, Kim Finnerty, Tina Stiles, Starla (Jamie) Cornwell, Wendy (Jackie) Robbins and Dustin Stiles; grandchildren, CJ and Alaina; sisters-in-law: Lori Stiles, Gloria Stiles, Karen Harsh and Carla (Danny) Jeremiah; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and many other beloved family members and dear friends.

Ed's family will receive friends Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 1:00 p.m.
