Charles Manning, 78, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on September 13, 1945 to Mary M. (Ratliff) and George Manning in Beech Grove, Indiana. He married June (Taylor) Manning in Indianapolis, IN.

Charles graduated Southport High School in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1965. After graduation, he served in the United States Navy for 2 years from 1965 to 1967. Following the Navy, Charles began his long career in construction. He was a hard worker and excelled in carpentry. He enjoyed sports and old cars, but what Charles loved most was fishing and spending time with the boys.

Charles is survived by his children, Christopher (Jennifer), Natasha, Dayton, Dylan and Gavynn; siblings, John and Dan; grand-children, Stephen, Jordan and Olivia; great grand-children, Aurora and Josie.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald, James, William, Norma, Tom, Dorothy, Deborah, Linda and Rick.

Charles’ friends and family may visit from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
