Charles Eddie Johnson

Charles Eddie Johnson, 64, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday Feb. 10, 2019. Eddie is an Indianapolis native; he was born on June 7, 1954 to Ramsey & Shirley (Gallamore) Johnson.

Eddie was a NASCAR fan, collector of NASCAR memorabilia especially anything with Jeff Gordon endorsed and he collected coins with his brother.
He was known as Uncle Ella to his nieces and nephews and Charlie to many friends and known as a loving man by all.

Eddie is survived by his mother: Shirley A. Siewert; children: Michael Wildman, Charles E. Johnson Jr., Jazmine (Johnson) Antonio, Anthony A. Johnson; 12 grandchildren: 2 great-grandchildren; siblings: Rod, Bobby, Becky, Tim, Dave and a host of other family and friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father: Ramsey A. Johnson Sr.; an infant brother: Michael A. Johnson.

Visitation will be on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Newcomer - Indianapolis Chapel, 925 E. Hanna Ave., IN 46227. His Funeral Service will be on Tuesday at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
