INDIANAPOLIS – Cassandra Marie “Cassie” Hager, 40, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at IU Heath University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on January 24, 1984 to Joyce Lynn (Jacobs) Cook and Randy Scott Hager in Columbus, Ohio.
Cassie attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She enjoyed playing games on her phone and camping. Cassie loved being a mom and cherished spending time her son and raising him.
She is survived by her loving son, Matthew Wayland Kimsey; parents, Joyce Lynn and Robert S. “Bob” Cook; biological father, Randy Scott Hager & wife, Cheryl; brothers, Robert S. Cook and Scott L. Adkins; sister, Tabitha Marie Adkins; half-brothers, Samuel and Joel Hager; half-sister, Courtney Hager; and numerous aunts, uncles and extended relatives.
Family requests that memorial contributions be mailed to the funeral home. The contributions will be distributed to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Speedway Moose Lodge 500, 4917 West Vermont Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. Food and drinks will be available.
