Carrie Frances Philpot, 52, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017. Carrie was born on September 6, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Regina Philpot both of whom precede her in death.
Carrie had a passion for cooking, music, and family. She loved to make desserts and pastries from scratch. She could be found cooking or baking in her kitchen while playing 80's music.
She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Heather & Jason Secrest of Noblesville, Cortney & Michael Shipley of Splendora, Texas; brothers and sister-in-law: John Philpot, Rob & Deena Philpot; 6 grandchildren: Hailey, Liam, Henley, Gunner, Ryleigh and one on the way; nieces and nephews: Jason, Sarah, Matthew, Brittany, Mason; boyfriend: Dave Beckner; father of her children: Jack Finkbiner and a host of other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be on December 13th from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the Fortville American Legion Post 391, located at 207 S Merrill St, Fortville, IN 46040.
