Carolyn Sue Savage

Carolyn Sue Savage (née Hayes), 80, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on August 4, 2023. She was born on July 9, 1943, to the late Carl and Madeline Hayes.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Kimbera Cole, Randel Savage, Danny Savage (Shelly), her brother Gene Hayes (Sharon), 18 grandchildren, two special grand pups, many great/great-great grandchildren, and extended family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her children Rebecca Neuhausel, Tammy Brockman, Francine Savage, Harold Savage, granddaughters Loretta Savage and Amanda Savage, and special grand pups Korkie, Nala, Jake and Gracie.

Carolyn dedicated her life to being a homemaker, and she was known for her unwavering support for her loved ones.

Carolyn found joy in reading novels, particularly by authors Beverly Lewis and Wanda Brunstetter. She enjoyed watching her favorite Hallmark Channel series, "When Calls the Heart." and loved anything featuring Tom Selleck. Carolyn enjoyed visiting South Carolina, where she indulged in, what she deemed, the best fried oysters and fried chicken, anywhere.

In her spiritual journey, Carolyn placed her trust in Jesus; Finding solace and strength in her faith, throughout her life.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 12:00pm, Newcomer Funeral Home, Indianapolis (Visitation one hour prior to service).
