Carmen Del Socorro Pina Parra, 66, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on January 1, 2025, in Indianapolis. She was born July 14, 1958, in Yucatan, Mexico, where she spent her early years embracing the vibrant culture and beauty of her homeland.

Carmen was known for her infectious laughter and vibrant spirit. She possessed the remarkable talent of making the best eggs, a simple dish that became a cherished tradition for many of her loved ones. Her warmth welcomed all, and she was admired for her loving and nurturing nature.

Carmen was an enthusiastic lover of flowers, gardening, shopping, art, and dance. She savored the finer things in life, particularly her son-in law, James Druley. She made every moment special, filling homes with beauty and joy. Her life was a celebration of simple pleasures, and she inspired those around her to appreciate the joys found in the everyday.

Carmen leaves behind her beloved family, which includes her sons Wences Pina and Victor Pina and her daughters, Angelica Pina and Victoria Pina - Druley and her husband, James. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Martha Yeenia Pina and ten cherished grandchildren who were fortunate to receive her love and guidance.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gaspar Dzib Pina, mother, Martha Etelvinia Pina Parra, and her brother, Jose Contreras - Pina.
