Plainfield – Brent Alan John, 57, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 11, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Lowell and Annette Chueden John. Brent was a 1981 graduate of Greenfield High School. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force.
Brent was employed by Langham Logistics until his health forced him to stop working in August 2019. His co-workers loved him so much that they donated their own personal PTO to him to last him through October 5, 2019. He enjoyed listening to talk radio, especially WIBC. He loved IU basketball, the Indy 500 and NASCAR. Additionally, he went to as many Cincinnati Reds games as he could.
Brent is survived by his sisters, Susan John and Janis Hentrup and her husband, Mark; cousins (that were more like brothers) Scott and Brian Richardson; and many other family members and friends.
Brent's sisters would like to thank everyone who visited Brent and kept him in their thoughts and prayers. They request that memorial donations be made, in his honor, to The Gathering Together in Plainfield where he spent his final days.
Brent's family will receive friends Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 11 – 11:30 am at Rocky Ripple Town Hall, 930 West 54th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208. A celebration of his life will begin at 11:30 am. Lunch will follow the service.
