Beech Grove – Brenda Lee Toney, 67, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
Brenda was born June 6, 1949 in Beech Grove, IN to James Odus and Effie Grace Cantrell. She was the baby of the family and grew up to be a sweet, but sassy, lady. She loved listening to Rod Stewart, dancing, fishing and spending time with her family.
Brenda is survived by her long time love, Gordon Adams; son, Larry Duane Fullington; daughter, Dawn Lewis and her husband, Dennis; granddaughters, Heather Summers and Tara Kellett; great grandson, Aiden Grider; great granddaughter, Sophia Anderson; sisters, Donna Scribner and Phyllis Brenay and her husband, James; several nieces and nephews; and many additional family members and friends.
Brenda's family will receive friends Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will be conducted Friday, January 6, 2017, at 11 am at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis.
