Indianapolis - Brandy Nichole Whitaker, 31, passed Saturday, July 22, 2017.
Brandy was born December 2, 1985 in Tucson, AZ. She was a member of the National Honor Society and a national cheerleading champion. Brandy served her family as a homemaker. She trusted Christ as her savior as a teenager. She was an animal lover.
Brandy is survived by her mother, Susan Godme; step- father, Jim Klatte; fiancé, Richard Hathaway; daughters, Alayna Nichole and Tirzah Joy; son, Zakai Thomas; sister, Amie Sue Whitaker; brothers, John and Jimmy Deleo; grandparents, Ron and Judy Thomas and James Whitaker; and many other loving family members and friends.
Brandy's family will receive friends Saturday, July 29, 2017, from 10 – 11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 11 am at the funeral home. A committal service will be conducted at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203.
