Betty Frances Schultz, 93, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 9, 2016.
She was born on August 12, 1922 in Lafayette, Indiana to Lawrence "Sawlog" and Bessie (Covey) Turner. She graduated from Jefferson High School and attended Indiana Business College. Betty served in the United States Navy during World War II and worked as an aviation machinist mate. Betty retired from the City of Lafayette Water Department in 1992 and then worked for the Street Department as a dispatcher for another 7 years.
Betty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Patricia & Larry Adams; two grandchildren and their spouses: Raeann & Jason Brown all of Indianapolis; Michael & Sabrina Hewitt of Evansville; great-grandchildren: Makenzie Staples, Kendall Brown, Elyse Hewitt, Owen Hewitt; sister: Pat Crose of Lafayette, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Delores Carte.
