Avon – Bernard "Mack Timothy" Kanu, 25, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017.
Bernard was born December 18, 1991 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He worked as a hip hop artist in the Indianapolis music industry.
Bernard was preceded in death by his father, Bockarie Kanu. He is survived by his mother, Hannah Hydar and her husband, Suhail Hydar; sister, Esther Hydar; brother, Joshua Hydar; step-sister, Rashida Kanu; step-mother, Rainatu Kanu; uncle, Samuel Kobba and his wife, Marie Kobba; cousins, Alice and Timothy; and many other loving family members and friends throughout Africa, Europe and North America.
Bernard's family will receive friends, Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 10 am – 12 pm at Newcomer Indianapolis, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of his life will follow at 12 pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Concordia Cemetery.
