Barbara Louise (Wright) Pollitt

On March 22, 2021 Barbara Louise Pollitt (Bobbi Wright) a loving Mother, Nana, Sister, Aunt and friend passed away peacefully at the age of 73. She is the daughter of the late Emerson D. and Rose A. Pollitt. Bobbi leaves behind her son Scott Emerson (Kim) Wright, her daughter Renee Roseann (Steve) Powell, sister Joyce (Edward) Webb, sister Jo Pollitt, 7 grandchildren Courtney, Matthew, Mollie, Schuyler, Kaleb, Madelyn and Gabriel, 10 great grandchildren and her beloved fur baby Maximillian.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, and brother Jack (Bobbie Jean) Hudson.
Bobbi attended Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton, OH and graduated from Hair Fashions by Kaye in Indianapolis, IN in 1982 where she won the top award for her graduating class.
She moved from Dayton, OH to Indianapolis, IN in 1966 where she lived with her big brother, sister-in-law and her six adored nephews. Bobbi worked at Western Electric in the 1970-80's and went on to graduate from Cosmetology school. In addition to working as a hairstylist Bobbi worked many years as a barmaid in the Beech Grove area where she made many lifelong friends. She was full of life an enjoyed many things like fishing, gardening, fashion, billiards, crocheting, but most of all spending time with family and friends serving her delectable foods and beverages. She was a member of Turning Point Church in Franklin, IN where she volunteered with Helping Hands by serving free meals to the community. Throughout Bobbi's life she touched many lives and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved Jesus and would help anyone in need. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
