Barbara Ann Miles

Indianapolis – Barbara Ann Miles, 80, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018.

Ms. Miles was born March 6, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Martin and Florence Butler Anderson. She served her community as a caretaker in the medical industry.

Ms. Miles is survived by her beloved daughters: Patricia "Patty" Fish and her husband, Jerry, Vicki Fields and her husband, Mike, Lisa Arthur and her husband, Ron and Michelle Clay; sister, Sharon Murphy; brother, Ronnie Anderson; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.

Ms. Miles' family will receive friends Monday, July 23, 2018, from 4 – 8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will be conducted Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at 10 am at the funeral home chapel. Ms. Miles will be laid to rest at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203. A reception will follow at the funeral home from 12 – 2 pm.
