Artie H. Walker

Artie H. Walker, age 80 of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis following an extended illness. He was born December 18, 1942 in Scottsville, Kentucky the son of Arthur and Virginia (Stillwell) Walker. He married Rhoda Davies on April 16, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Artie owned his own heating and cooling business, A and W Heating and Cooling. He ran a very successful business for over 50 years. Artie enjoyed working, being outdoors, and fishing. He found great peace being out on the water boating. Artie liked old school country music, such as Hank Sr. More than anything, Artie loved his family and traveling home to Kentucky to see everyone.

Artie is survived by his wife, Rhoda Walker; son, Anthony Walker; daughter, Sharon Walker; step-son, James Bacon; 6 grandchildren, Amber, Annalise, A.J., Amiee, Robert and Noah; 4 great-grandchildren.

Artie is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Odell Walker and Roy Walker.
