Indianapolis - Anna Sue Clark, 73, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at her residence.
Mrs. Clark was born November 24, 1942 in Hazard, KY. She was the proprietor of Anna's Beauty Shop, a salon she operated from her home, where she served her community as a cosmetologist. Mrs. Clark was also an active member of the Women of the Moose, Indianapolis, IN Chapter 11 since 1997. While she had many interests, including bowling, what she enjoyed most was the simplicity and comfort of time with her family.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her father, Robert Johnson; sons, Keith Moshier and Scott Clark; and daughter, Chris Walker. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, James "Jim" Clark; son, John Clark and his wife, Beth; daughter, Kelly Connor; mother, Wanda Johnson; sister, Gloria Stafford; brother, Steve Johnson; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren (with one more on the way); and many other loving family members and devoted friends.
Mrs. Clark's family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2016, from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home at 925 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis. A celebration of her life will be conducted Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
