Indianapolis – Aniyah Sharene Scott, 21, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was born on June 20, 2002 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Antonio T. Scott and Kristinia April Astumian. Aniyah attended Light House and Howe High Schools.
Aniyah enjoyed gathering with her family and friends. She especially had the best time when she was surrounded by all those she loved, family and friends alike, with good music and even better food. If she was lucky, her favorite, seafood would be present.
Her hobbies included drawing, dancing, singing, cooking, and trying new foods. She had an infectious smile that was often accompanied with a boisterous laugh.
Aniyah was a good mother to A’viannah. She loved her deeply and spent all the time with her that she could.
Aniyah is survived by her daughter, A’viannah Shaw and her father, Bryan Shaw; parents, Antonio Scott and Kristinia Astumian; siblings, Antonio Scott Jr and Mikayla Smith; grandparents, Genever Barnett, Dennis Barnett and Mike Astumian, Sr; aunts and uncles, Mike Astumian Jr, Kimberley Kennebrew, William Lee III, John Lee, Dorothy McCain, Joann Johnson, Robert Henson, Concietta Turner, and Renee Blaisdell; Bryan Shaw
Aniyah’s friends and family may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
