Abigail Bronson, age 60 of Indianapolis passed away on September 23, 2022 at her home. She was born August 27, 1962 in Trenton, Michigan the daughter of Paul and Milla Jean (Jones) Mills. Abigail was a 1980 graduate of Woodhaven High School and continued her education at Ferris State. She married Richard D. Bronson on March 24, 1986 in Holland, Michigan and have spent more than 36 years of marriage together. Abigail and Richard worked together in property management. She enjoyed playing her puzzle games, shopping, taking care of their plants and playing with her dog, "Bo". To Abigail, nothing was more important than family. There was nothing she wouldn't do for someone she loved. She even moved across the country a few times to stay near her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. Abigail never met a stranger and loved to tell old stories about family and she was always talking about the good memories that were made over time. She had a strong faith in God and enjoyed telling others about all the good he has done in her life. Abigail remained young at heart her entire life and even though she was small, she was mighty. She protected all her family and friends. Abigail adored her grandchildren and was the most caring grandma. Abigail will be missed by all who loved her.
Abigail is survived by her husband, Richard D. Bronson; daughter, Danielle (husband Timothy) Rios; grandchildren, Timmy Mills, Alyse Manley, Harley Adams, Breanna Adams and Vander Rios; great-grandson, Noah Mills; siblings, Tom (wife Dawn) Mills, Robbie Mills, Susan (husband Rickey) Nichols, Donna Mills-John, Debra Mills-Vespremi and Jasper (wife Joanne) Mills; several nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members and friends.
Abigail is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carol Mills; 2 sisters, Elaine Labelle and Shirley Meade; and brother, Stacy Mills.
A celebration of Abigail's life will take place at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions at 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46227. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the funeral home. After services at the funeral home there will be luncheon prepared at her home and all are welcome to attend.
