Indianapolis - Timothy Alek Hood, 22, born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 23, 1998 to Cynthia L. (Anacker) Hood and Timmy J. Hood. Alek passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN.
He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church where he attended grade school and excelled in sports. Alek graduated from Franklin Central High School, class of 2017. After high school he enjoyed working alongside his father and learning the electrical trade. Alek was an avid lover of cars and making music. He spent most of his free time at the music studio where he recorded songs. Alek otherwise known as AK 2Gudda wrote all his own music and was on his way to becoming a very successful artist. Rapping and music were his passion. He was so friendly and funny, always joking and making people smile. Alek will be missed dearly by all those who knew him.
He is proceeded in death by his brother, Robert Anthony Cecil and paternal grandparents, Gerald and Della May Hood. Alek is survived by his loving parents, Cynthia L. Hood and Timmy Hood and his wife, Debbie; his step-brother, Zach McCloud; his brothers, Josh and Zackary Hood; his step-sisters, Madison and Marisa Davis; and his first love and lifelong friend, Naomi Purcell. Additional survivors include his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends that loved him deeply.
Alek's friends and family may visit from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Solarek and Brandon Cronmiller officiating.
