Jimmy Harrison

Jimmy Harrison, 59, of Eminence called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at his residence.

Jimmy was born on September 21, 1957 to Bob and Eula (Poe) Harrison in Indianapolis. Jimmy worked for White Castle for 37 years holding many positions retiring as a District Supervisor. After retirement Jimmy went to work for Lowes for another 5 years. Jimmy enjoyed being with his family, working in the yard, coaching softball and baseball; don't forget sitting on the recliner on his day off watching the Colts and IU basketball. You would see him every day sitting on the front porch enjoying a Popsicle usually with company.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 31 years as of May 3; Sandy (Annes) Harrison; mother: Eula Mae Harrison; children and their spouses: Jimmy Jr. & Stephanie Harrison; Michelle "Shelly" Harrison-Shaw; Thomas & Samantha Harrison; Brittney Harrison; grandchildren: Hali, Briahna, Jennah, Jaden, Cheyenne, Cierra, Savannah, Logan, Maely, and one on the way; siblings and their spouses: Lana Tharp; Bobby & Marilyn Harrison; Kirby & Donna Harrison; Donald & Shannon Harrison; David & Cheryl Harrison; and a host of many other family and friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father; sister: Janet Yager.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 4 P.M. until the Funeral Service at 7 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home 925 E. Hanna Ave. Indianapolis 46227.
